Juxtaposition

    Juxtaposition is when two things have contrast between each other.  They can be side by side or behind each other that show two different meanings. They are usually opposite from each other and not similar. They can have something to do with each other but mean totally different things.  An example of this can be seen in the picture below.  The picture shows juxtaposition because it shows one black sheep surrounded by all white sheep.  I found this picture interesting because it has a double meaning.  One on side it shows the connotation of being an outsider and on the other side they are are both the same animal but just having different color fur.
