Three Things you Should Know About Technology this Week

More with Less

                                          1. The Raspberry Pi 2

The Raspberry pi 2 is a new, innovative part of the micro-computer new edition can be plugged into a bread board, creating a computer that can fit in the palm of your hand.. This incredible piece of technology features 4 USB ports, an Ethernet cable port, a headphone jack, a HDMI port, and has breadboard capabilities. So you can take a computer and cram it into something similar to the size of an Altoids tin. You can use it as control panels for robots or make small emulators. The Raspberry Pi 2 has a gigabyte of RAM . The processor on-board has a 900MHz quad-core chip.

The ARM cortex-72 is a huge leap in micro-processors for smartphones and tablets. This micro processor unleashes the power of 4K video into mobile devices. It promises to give your device 120 frames per second picture, while most phones can barley reach 30 frames per second. This chip will boost handheld gaming quality, with those frames you will feel like you are seeing console-rate video. This highly rated chip wont be ready until 2016, a will likely be used in the android 5.0 lollipop.

This new battery can energize a whole new form of batteries, ones that are recycled from the old cells that are dead. The current version of this is only made up of 4 percent of the old cell. By 2025 Energizer hopes to have it be 40 percent of the recycled material. This will significantly reduce the environmental harm caused by battery production and waste. This will decrease the amount of dangerous material from dumps.
