Three Things you Should Know About Videogames......... THIS WEEK!

1.) Nintendo Reveals Footage of zelda Wii U

During the Video game awards in las vegas, Nintendo showed of footage of a few of the their upcoming games for 2015, including Mario Maker, Code name steam, and of course, The New Legend of zelda game on Wii U.

Nintedo didn't really reveal much of the new Zelda adventure when they first reveled it during their E3 direct back in June. But Eiji Aonuma did talk about the emphases on open world gameplay and exploring, which is clearly still the focus on the game as seen during the new gameplay shown.

The gameplay was shown off with the designers Eiji Aonuma and Shigeru Miyamoto sitting next to a tv and explaing some mechanics of the new game. Some interesting things that were shown off were, the return of the sail cloth from Skyward sword, the huge map, and the beautiful visuals. The game is still set to release in 2015.

2.) Video Game awards Take place in Las Vegas

On Dec. 6 the annual Game Awards took place in Las vegas. Tons of footage was shown off, including zelda, Before, and Metal gear solid. The show was Hosted by Geoff Keighle, and many awards were giving out.

Including, Best online experience: Destiny, Best Remaster: GTA V, Best shooter: Far Cry 4, and Best sports or racing game: Mario Kart 8. These were just a few of the awards given. But of course the main award given out was the game of the year award. This award was given to Dragon Age: Inquisition.

3.) Final Fantasy VII announced to come back on PS4

Sqaure Enix has announced that a port of Final Fantasy VII will be released for PS4, selling for $16. Final Fantasy VII oringally released on PS1, was a beloved game a desereves a remke. which why fans are mad. The game needs a REMAKE and not just a port. Sqaure Enix has not commented on the possibilty of  a remake.
