Three things you should know about Fashion…This week
It’s all about the clothes
1.) "What the
Fashion Crowd Wore to the Golden Globes After-Parties - Fashionista" http://fashionista.com/2015/01/golden-globes-after-parties
On Sunday night, January 11th, at the Beverly
Hills Hilton hotel in California there was the 72nd Golden Globes
Awards. This is where the best in film and television were recognized. I bet
you are all dying to see the amazing red carpet outfits.
As always, J. Lo proved that age is just a number when she
wowed in a hot, metallic gown, complete with a gorgeous caped train. Yet
when the after party came, hair went up and a more revealing and party-type
dress came on. She stands in front of one of the big hostesses of the after
party; Netflix.
Lorde walks through the aisles arm and arm with taylor
swift. Lorde wearing a very sophisticated outfit, yet with a little skin
showing. One fashion critic said
"she looked like an individual with a point of view,”I completely agree;
skicked back hair, dress pants, and even a dark blazer. By the after party her
hair had been let down and she switched into a white version of her revealing
day time top, The picture on the right is in front of one of the big

2.) "'Downton Abbey' Season 5 Episode 2
Fashion Recap: The Rendezvous - Fashionista" http://fashionista.com/2015/01/downton-abbey-season-5-episode-2-fashion
Season five of Downton
Abbey has not disappointed and it has just
begun! Lots of great comments have been
made already about the beautiful, old fashioned styles in clothes and
especially Jewelry.
Many had been worried Lady Rose was dressing a bit more
drably this season. But by the daywear choices of momochromatic dove grey, she
showed she could pull it off. This grey made her look rosier than usual. The
chunky beaded necklaces add that perfect 1920’s touch.
Jewelry jewelry Jewelry! Who knew wearing necklaces backwards was the
new thing (well old) Back cleavage is so much more intriguing than the standard
chest hanging necklace. The necklace falls so perfectly in the open
triangle back Lady Mary shows.
"Kim Kardashian Gets Her First Solo 'Vogue'
Cover - Fashionista" http://fashionista.com/2015/01/kim-kardashian-vogue-australia-cover
Kim Kardashian trying to make a change? I guess so, one of
her New year goals was her image. She tweeted that she was up all night getting
a new wardrobe. Lets take a peek. With styling by Fashion
Director Christine Centenera Kim looked ethereal in her beachside portraits by
Gilles Bensimon. Her natural, barely-there beauty look, paired with clean,
sporty ensembles in a palette of sand, blush, white and black, offers a
slightly softer version of the star than we have seen lately.
